Can I live in another state and be a member?

Yes. You do not have to live in Philadelphia, PA to be part of Just Right.

However, currently, most meetings, gatherings, and events will typically be held in or around Philadelphia, PA. As Just Right grows, the long-term vision is to become a nationwide family, with members across the United States eventually able to lead local chapters in their own areas. Any cisgender lesbian interested in launching a chapter must first be an active member for at least 90 days.

Is there a fee?

Yes. All members are required to pay monthly membership dues to help support Just Right’s activities and operational costs.

Current dues are $20.00 per month, per member.

Dues are collected by automatic recurring debit using the payment method you provide.

If you are experiencing temporary financial hardship, you may request a private conversation to explore possible short-term support or dues flexibility. While assistance is not guaranteed, your situation will be heard with care and discretion.

Where does the money go?

Money raised through membership dues, fundraisers, and donations is used to support Just Right and its growth. Examples include:

*Website management and upkeep
*Promotional products and community-branded items
*Outreach and community support when possible
*Costs toward obtaining and maintaining a future physical location for Just Right
*Support for Just Right programs, events, and member-centered initiatives

As Just Right grows, additional uses may be added in alignment with our mission and values.

What are the mandatory rules to follow?

To help keep Just Right a safe, respectful, and intentional space, all members agree to honor our Community Rules and 12 Inception Principles. In everyday language, that means:

*Active Participation
Members are encouraged to participate in online discussions and in-person events when able. Staying engaged helps keep the community connected. When life allows, attending at least one event per quarter is encouraged.

*Respect
All members are expected to move with respect, compassion, kindness, and emotional maturity. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, and hate speech are not tolerated.

*Open, Grown Dialogue
Real conversations are welcome. Members may have different opinions, but discussions should be handled constructively, respectfully, and with care.

*Privacy and Confidentiality
Confidentiality matters. Personal information shared in private meetings, member groups, chats, texts, or online spaces must remain private. Do not share screenshots, private conversations, or member details outside Just Right without clear permission.

*Accountability and Integrity
All members are expected to honor these standards and help protect the spirit of Just Right. Serious or repeated violations may lead to a conversation, a pause in participation, or suspension or termination of membership when necessary.

*Additional Guidelines
Treat each member’s voice, ideas, and opinions with respect.
No derogatory behavior toward other members or in the name of Just Right.
Only cisgender lesbians age 35 and older may be members and participate in member spaces.
Member meetings, private gatherings, and community spaces hosted by Just Right are for members only unless otherwise stated.
All members must follow the rules of any platform used, including Wix, Zoom, Facebook, Instagram, or other online spaces.
Enrollment periods and membership processes may be updated by Just Right as the community grows.
Members may not engage in fraudulent activity or maintain more than one membership account.
